Leicester College is one of the largest further education institutions in the UK, serving thousands of students across multiple campuses. The Freemen’s Park Campus is a key site, hosting a wide range of vocational and academic programs. The brief.
During the summer shutdown period, Leicester College commissioned a furniture upgrade at its Freemen’s Park campus. The project involved the supply and installation of 41 desks and pedestals, aimed at enhancing the workspace environment in the Construction Staff Room

Execution
The project was delivered in partnership with Gresham Office Furniture, utilising a direct delivery model. This approach eliminated the need for intermediate warehousing, reducing handling and transportation emissions.

The installation was successfully completed within one day, ahead of schedule and with zero disruption to college operations. The new furniture has significantly improved the functionality and aesthetics of the workspace, aligning with Leicester College’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
